How It Works
Tell us where and when your event is, what kind of event it is, and how many guests you expect.
If your event is eligible, you'll see the available coverage options and your price before you buy anything.
Pay online if you're eligible and download your certificate of insurance to send to your venue.
Events You Can Insure
The program covers events with up to 500 attendees. DJs, bands, performers, and booth vendors can also buy daily coverage of their own. Eligibility depends on your event's type, size, and location. Coverage is not currently available for venues in Colorado, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Vermont, or Washington.
Coverage Options
Your exact coverage, limits, and price depend on your event and are shown in your quote before you buy.
General liability for injuries or property damage claims from guests and others at your event, with limits up to $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate.
Up to $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate when you serve or provide alcohol to your guests. It doesn't cover anyone in the business of selling or serving alcohol, such as a bar or caterer.
Coverage up to $1 million for damage to the venue you're renting, which many venue contracts require.
Coverage for the time you spend setting up and cleaning up, at no extra charge when you include those dates in your quote.
Coverage for your wedding rehearsal and a wedding breakfast or brunch is available at no extra charge.
An event that continues past midnight is still treated as one day, so you're covered until it ends.
Based on the program's sample Tennessee policy, these are excluded unless they're specifically added to your policy:

Venue Insurance Requirements
Many venues, from wedding barns to church halls, won't confirm your booking until you send a certificate of insurance. Most ask to be named as an additional insured, and some require specific liability limits or extra wording on the certificate.
Ask your venue for its insurance requirements before you quote, so you can make sure your coverage matches.
Your certificate is generated automatically when you purchase, so you can send it to your venue right away.
Add your venue and anyone else your contract requires during checkout.
For venues in the program's directory, the venue's insurance requirements are filled in automatically.
Applies automatically when your written venue contract requires it, and a waiver of subrogation can be added at no additional cost.

Yes. The program is available for events at Tennessee venues, including events in Spring Hill, Franklin, Columbia, Nashville, and across the state, as well as in most other states. In Tennessee, coverage is written on an admitted basis by Diamond State Insurance Company, a Global Indemnity company with an "A" (Excellent) group rating from AM Best.
Usually not. The program's sample Tennessee policy excludes inflatables such as bounce houses, along with water slides, trampolines, climbing walls, amusement rides, fireworks, and animals, unless they're specifically added to the policy. If you're renting a bounce house or similar equipment, ask the rental company for a certificate of insurance showing its own liability coverage.
Yes. You can add the venue and any other required additional insureds during the purchase process, and the certificate is generated automatically. If you need to add someone after you buy, the program's support team can help.

Coverage availability, eligibility, exclusions, and terms vary by event and policy. A quote does not confirm coverage. Coverage is effective only after the provider confirms binding.
